Kindergarten teacher Consuelo Gaines is an admitted pack rat who puts most of her time and energy into her students, overlooking her own wardrobe and appearance. The Jones team swept into Chicago to de-clutter Consuelo's classroom, create a teacher's lounge for all to enjoy and give Consuelo a new JNY wardrobe. After clearing out all Consuelo's boxes and boxes of supplies and completely organizing her daunting storage room, the team painted the classroom a warm shade of Yellow called Shorline, picked by JAG associate winner Laura Robinson. Different areas were created around the classroom for the kids to enjoy; a reading area with a brand new rugs, an arts and crafts area with a new easel and new storage, a TV area with a new TV/DVD/VCR and a new desk and rug for Consuelo. Wallpaper murals helped to transform the space into a dream classroom for any kindergartner with palm trees, clouds and a fairy tale complete with a castle, dragon, and knight!
